Under 2MB was built with a privacy-first approach. Your images never leave your device. We do not have a server that processes or stores your files. All image resizing, compression, and format conversion happens locally within your web browser using your device's own processing power.

2. Data Collection

Because we do not upload your images, we cannot view, store, or share them. We do not collect any personal data, email addresses, or account information, as the tool is completely free and requires no sign-up.

3. Analytics

We use basic, privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve the tool. We track anonymous events such as:

• Which tool pages are viewed
• When a compression starts and completes
• If an error occurs during compression
• Whether images are downloaded individually or as a ZIP

This analytics data does not contain any image data, file names, or personally identifiable information.
